How long have you been doing CrossFit and what motivated you to try it out?
I was tired of my fitness routine at ClubFit and wanted to change it up.  (this is coming from a girl who used to cut gym class) I started about 16 months ago when HIIT was introduced, I came in as a guest of Hirsch after years of her suggesting I try it. I finally became a full member in September 2017 when my very patient husband had discovered I belonged to 3 different gyms…I chose Immortal because of the amazing coaches and love to pop back and forth between HIIT and regular CrossFit
That is the best decision I ever made…Thank you Hirsch!

One of your stand out qualities we all admire so much about you is your bubbly and fun personality.  What do you attribute this too?
Well I think I can attribute this to my past experiences and knowing that 99.9% of the time others are dealing with worse issues in their life… its my passion not to sweat the small stuff, although this is not always easy.  Immortal brings out the best in me. I walk in and leave everything in an imaginary basket at the door.  I can be myself, laugh at myself and still be supported and that is a true gift.  

Can you share with us your favorite experience from your life, so far?  I’m sure there will be many more to come!
Well hands down my favorite would be when I left my career and became a stay at home mom when my daughter was 5 and my son was 2.  It was challenging and amazing all at  the same time.   Definitely ask me again when I am 80!!

What has been your favorite memory since joining Immortal?
Ah, there are many but I will have to say it was during my first set of back squats. I fell flat on my ass and TC ran over to console me.  Turned out he was surprised to see that Lauren and I were laughing not crying! We still laugh about it.

If you could choose a career for your kids to pursue, what would it be, and why? 
We try to teach our children to be the difference in this world.  I would love for them to choose a career that makes them happy by making a positive impact on others so they can reward themselves with how they feel other than just a paycheck. I share this quote by Maya Angelou with them as often as I can “
I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

I know you try out new recipes all the time.  What’s your favorite meal to cook?
My favorite meal to cook is Pasta Bolognese, It is a staple in my house.  it may just have to be the next cheat meal for Cross Fit Life Foodie! 

What goal are you currently pursuing (it doesn’t have to be fitness related)?:
HAHAHA well I have two!  The dreaded toes to bar and not leaving all of my crap behind at the gym! Both I feel are not easily attainable.
